Girvan V Ayr United Under 13′s
This was a game in which Ayr dominated throughout however some poor decision making and a lack of a killer instinct in front of goal, lead to the game slipping away from Ayr.
Girvan managed to stay in the game as Ayr missed a number of chances and on the counter attack Girvan punished Ayr for their missed opportunities.
Ayr’s performance though was excellent and the team passed the ball and kept possession well, however there was much to build on from this performance.

Ayr United Under 13′s v Kilwinning Blues
This was very even contest that Ayr edged and handed Kilwinning Blues their first league defeat of the season. Ayr pushed Kilwinning back giving them no time on the ball and stopped them from playing.
Cobi Welsh dominated the centre of midfield and was often the playmaker, distributing the ball to the dangerous Amy Miller, Nicole Wilson and Hannah Mcsorely who did a great job of keeping the ball when under pressure from one or two defenders using her skills and footwork.
Megan Cannell made an outstanding save in the second half to stop Ayr from going behind at any point in the match. Ayr’s defence consisting of Rhiannon Connelly, Emma Robertson and Courtney McWhirter was solid and broke up Kilwinning’s attacks.
Ayr could have won the game by more, hitting the bar on two occasions. The goal of the day came after a fantastic cross by Amy was met by Cobi who headed into the bottom corner of the net.
