Ayr United Football Academy would like to send a “speedy recovery” message to 19′s player Ewan Bain (pictured) who unfortunately suffered a leg break during the match on Sunday 14th when the Ayr side were playing away to East Fife at Kettle Park, Kingskettle.
The referee decided to end the game on 34 minutes after the incident to Ewan had followed on from an earlier similar injury to East Fife player Michael Moodie, who suffered a double leg break. Faced with two leg fractures occurring in the heavy conditions, the Referee David McGeachie, supported by both teams’ coaching staff, decided that the game would best be abandoned.
The Board of Ayr United Football Academy wish both Ewan and Michael a quick recovery to full fitness.
