CALEDONIAN LEARNER DRIVER TRAINING SUPPORTS THE ACADEMY

Caledonian Learner Driver Training has stepped in to sponsor the Ayr United Football Academy under 19 team.

Under the deal agreed this week, Caledonian Learner Driver Training has agreed to back the Academy’s Under 19 side and will have its logo emblazoned on the team’s home and away shirts for the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons.

Announcing the deal, the Academy’s Community Projects Manager, Roddy MacDonald, said:

“I am delighted that Caledonian Learner Driver Training has agreed to support the Academy. Our Under 19 team is proving to be a successful unit with a number of the squad having already signed professional terms with Ayr United, while many others have featured in the Clubs’ reserve side this season. The name of Caledonian Learner Driver Training will now be linked with the future success and the continuing flow of players to the first team. We hope to develop an ongoing partnership with the business in the years ahead.”

Caledonian’s Owner Stewart Lochrie added:

“We are delighted to support such a successful local organisation as the Ayr United Football Academy. As a local charity, their coaches and volunteers work extremely hard to give talented young footballers the chance to play professional football, with a huge degree of success.

However, I was equally impressed by the amount of work that they carry out in the local community, working with children and adults who are in need of support and who are benefitting from the healthy activity provided by the Academy’s Community Coaching courses.

I realised immediately that Caledonian Learner Driver Training would be proud to have its name associated with such worthwhile causes and was only too happy to make a contribution”

He went on to say:

“We believe that Caledonian Learner Driver Training is unique in Scotland due to the fact that we are a multi-car school based here, with instructors trained here. Ours is one of the largest independent driving schools in Scotland and we feel that we provide the personal touch that leads to higher pass rates and all round customer satisfaction” Information about the business can be found at http://www.caledonianldt.com/ and as a gesture Stewart is offering any Academy players, or customers introduced through Academy contacts, a 10% discount.
