Ayr United v Kilbirnie / Dalry (U9 girls)

Ayr get off to great start, Sophie drives up the wing and scores in the bottom left corner. Kilbirnie/Dalry bring the ball down but are pushed back by the Ayr defenders. Kilbirnie drive down but are blocked by Emily and Michaela. Michaela driving towards the net but was stopped in pursuit but she was so close to a goal. The ball coming down towards to the net, Morven makes a great tackle. Eleanor makes a great block as the ball aims at the net. The girls are doing great. Beth makes a great save as the ball flies towards the net; Beth makes a great goal kick but Kilbinie manage to get it. As Kilbinie dive to the net they manage to get past the defenders and they get a goal in the 8th minute, they score again in the 9th minute. Just after centre Kilbirnie score again. Michaela pressures towards the net but unfortunately misses. But she tries again and gets the goal.

Ayr takes centre. Michaela .H. makes a great kick. But Kilbirnie get a hold of the ball butAyrget it back. Beth gets the ball and makes a great pass. Emily has the ball, she makes a great run but gets tackled and chases the player off and passes to Michaela, who get the ball and then passes over to Sophie and a great clearance is made. Sophie just misses. Kilbirnie drive to a shot but miss by a whisker. Emily makes a great clearance to Sophie. Then Kilbirnie scores and another, even with Michaela Hall.’s great effort. To finish off, Sophie drives up to the net and scores a cracker of a goal.

Both teams played great.
