Shaun Ferrie – Football Development Officer
Shaun has been coaching for 9 years from community up to youth levels. He started his coaching career in Dumfries and Galloway but took the opportunity to join Ayr United Football Academy.
As Football Development Officer, he manages, organises and delivers the Academy’s Football Development Programme in partnership with the Scottish FA and South Ayrshire Council. He is responsible for managing programmes such as McDonalds, Tesco Bank Soccer Challenge, Night Leagues, Girls Football, PrimarySchool and Nursery Visits.
In his role as Development Group Coach Co-ordinator he oversees the AUFA Development Squads and also helps deliver their sessions. From time to time he helps to coach the AUFA Youth Initiative teams with the delivery of their training sessions and also books their facilities for games and training.
