South Ayrshire Council recently held a Balancing the Budget consultation. During this consultation, 7 out of 10 people said they would accept additional charges for some services. This had led SAC to significantly increase charges for the use of their facilities, including school halls and activity centres.
As a charity and non-profit organisation, AUFA is committed to providing a quality service at affordable prices. We aim to operate at a breakeven level and the price we charge covers the cost of delivery including coaching wages, kit, equipment and facility hire.
As all of AUFA’s Community Football Centres are delivered in schools and activity centres, the increased facility charges will have a significant impact on our costs. This leaves us with no option but to increase the price we charge to our participants.
So with effect from Thursday 5th April, our Community Football Centres price will rise from £3.50 to £4.00.
