The Honest Kids Football Club

Ayr United Football Academy’s Honest Kids Club is a Children in Need funded football club for young people who have barriers to, or find it difficult to access mainstream football.

So if you, or someone you know or care for, has a disability, Additional Support Need, long term health condition or behavioural issue, and want to get involved in football then the Honest Kids Club is for you!

Sessions are delivered by AUFA’s SFA qualified coaches and involve fun challenges, skills drills and of course lots of football. The emphasis is on fun, socialising and inclusion so ability does not matter, the coaches will ensure that each participant gets involved and is challenged in a fun and safe environment.

Where: Citadel Leisure Centre, Ayr

When: Tuesdays, 5pm to 7pm, running in line with school terms

Cost: £1 per session

Who: Any young person (<18) who faces a barrier to mainstream football.

If interested in joining, or if looking for more information, please email stuart.watson@aufa.org.uk or call the AUFA office on 01292 263435 (option 2).

Volunteers

The Honest Kids Club relies on the support of volunteers to make it the fun and enjoyable environment that it is. We are always looking for more people to get involved on the fun and there are roles for football and non-football minded folks.
