Our Star of the Month is Thommo Donovan. Thommo is our Head of Performance at Ayr United Football Academy and recently won the league with his team Craigmark Burtonians. Congratulations Thommo!
Jamie Douglas makes his First Team Debut
Our Under 19s player Jamie Douglas made his debut for the Ayr United First Team during their final league game of the season against St Johnstone. Pictured below is Jamie alongside our Under 10s players who went along to the game to cheer on the First Team.
May also saw Jamie graduate from the Scottish FA Performance School. Congratulations Jamie!
Summer Camps
Keep your eyes peeled on our social media on Monday 1st June as we will be announcing our summer camp schedule for 2026. We are really looking forward to a summer full of football which kicks off with Scotland at the World Cup!
Michael McDermott Moves On
Everyone at Ayr United Football Academy would like to send our best wishes to our Under 12s Head Coach, Michael McDermott, as he moves on from his role at Ayr United and will join Motherwell FC Academy after the summer.
Coach Mikey is a popular figure among players, parents and coaches and will be missed by all at AUFA. No doubt we will catch up with Mikey at some point in Season 2026/27!
Stroller of the Year
On Tuesday 19th May, John Boag was awarded our Stroller of the Year award for Season 2025/26!
John was voted for by his fellow Strollers and was presented his trophy by Community Programmes Manager, Stuart Watson. Congratulations John!
