Start of the Month

Our Star of the Month is Keiren O’Brien. Keiren, who plays for our Under 19s, has been in training with the Ayr United First Team during pre season and was rewarded with a place on the bench for their first pre season friendly of the season against East Stirlingshire. Keiren came on at half time during this game and has went on to play in other pre season friendlies. Well done Keiren!

AUFA Summer Roadshow

We are delighted to be able to deliver free pop up camps in some of South Ayrshire’s village communities through the summer thanks to the funding we receive from ICF

Last week marked the first week of our pop ups and we had a fantastic week enjoying fun football in the sunshine! We hosted pop ups in Annbank, Coylton and Tarbolton with Maidens and Symington pop ups commencing in a few weeks

Advanced Player Programme

Ayr United Football Academy are excited to announce the launch of our new Advanced Player Programme

For our first block, over the course of 5 weeks, participants will work with our coaching team, consisting of Pro Youth coaches and Academy Graduates, working on their technical ability and fitness to get them ready for the new season ahead
 
Sessions will focus on developing the participants first touch, passing, dribbling, shooting, working on attacking/defending and using the techniques developed in Small Sided Games to prepare them for the season ahead
 
Groups will be a maximum of 6 participants to a coach meaning lots of focused and detailed coaching points and feedback for players. Sessions will be challenging and high intensity but also fun and rewarding
 
If you have any questions or participant is older/younger than the
stated group and they would be interested in attending, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Daniel at daniel.dowle@aufa.org.uk and we will look at alternatives.

Weigh to Go Ayr United is a 12 week lifestyle programme from men being delivered by Ayr United Football Academy in Partnership with NHS Ayrshire & Arran
