Star of the Month
Our Star of the Month is David Watson! David, who plays for our Under 12s, has been selected and offered a place with one of the Scottish FA Performance Schools. Well done David!
Easter Camps
We had a brilliant 2 weeks of Easter Camps with 2 camps running each week!
Week 1
Our Community Football Camp was at Queen Margaret Academy on Week 1 of the Easter Holidays with 90 children in attendance. We also ran our Extra Time Camp in Week 1 as well. 65 young people attended throughout the week taking part in a range of activities such as football, arts & crafts, dance and many more. We were able to provide a healthy breakfast, lunch and snacks daily thanks to our funders; Scottish FA, Scottish Government and Cash for Kids.
Week 2
Our Community Football Camp was at Prestwick Academy with 80 children in attendance. We also delivered a free football camp down in Girvan at the new astro pitch thanks to funding that we receive from Carrick Futures and Ambergate which was attended by 40 children. This ended up being a partnership affair with ourselves providing the football on the pitch and Active Schools sending their participants out to join in from their own camp. We also had 3 volunteers from thriving Communities in attendance and helping out, getting valuable work experience. Girvan Youth were also involved and we’d like to say a big thanks to Stevie Galloway for helping with the venue!

Under 14s Climb Goatfell
Our Under 14s recently climbed Goatfell during their free weekend. Well done to the players and coaches for reaching the top!
Wallacetown Arts Festival
Ayr United Football Academy were delighted to be part of the Wallacetown Arts Festival. Julie, our Head of Wellbeing, was part of the group behind the organising of the fantastic event alongside a great group of people!
Children's Phase Trip to Liverpool
Our Children’s Phase took a trip to Liverpool Training Ground on Tuesday 8th April. Our Under 10s, Under 11s, Under 12s and Under 13s all made the journey and it was a brilliant day with the sun shining for the duration of the great experience.
